Since 2018, Solution Group has embraced corporate social responsibility

We understand the challenges of importing from the Far East. However, we have successfully selected a pool of suppliers who respect the environment and workers' rights, without sacrificing efficiency, timeliness, and affordable costs.

Our commitment is manifested daily in the ethical quality of the proposals we make to our clients, through promotional items that come as much as possible from responsible productions and suppliers who respect the environment and workers' conditions.

We pay special attention to environmental sustainability and respect for human rights.

Certifications

We are members of Sedex and the United Nations Global Compact, adhering to ethical, environmental, and social responsibility standards. We have obtained ISO 14001 and Ecovadis certifications, and we specialize in promotional products for the pharmaceutical sector, one of the most regulated at the European level. For this reason, we are also ISO 13485 certified for the quality of medical devices.

Fairtrade Licensees

Since 2022, Solution Group has been an official Fairtrade licensee, supporting sustainable development and fair conditions for certified producers. These values are reflected in the nudo-naturemade project, launched in 2020: a line of body care accessories made entirely from 100% natural, vegan, and plastic-free materials. Social Commitment

Solution Group collaborates with various non-profit organizations and NGOs that involve people with disabilities in activities such as assembly, packaging, and material reprocessing. This concrete social commitment is also reflected in the careful selection of our suppliers, giving our work an ethical and human value beyond the professional aspect.

Reforesting the Planet with Forest Nation

Solution Group is proud to announce that since 2021 it has joined the international ecological project of Forest Nation: an international company committed to reforesting certain areas of our planet. We have chosen to support the reforestation project in Tanzania. This project helps the local population manage the trees we finance, creating job opportunities in the territory. Periodically, we receive a detailed report on the actual impact of our initiatives in terms of oxygen released into the atmosphere and CO2 absorbed.

Why Tanzania?

In the eastern and western parts of the Usambara mountain range in Tanzania, heavy deforestation has compromised the daily lives of many local communities. Our goal is to restore these territories by planting new trees, improving the environment and offering new opportunities to those who live in these areas.

We support families by providing seeds to grow, facilitate access to fresh water by planting along rivers, and choose tree varieties that produce fruits, medicines, and natural oils. We help the local economy by providing sustainable timber, promote environmental awareness in villages, improve agricultural resources for richer harvests, and make landscapes welcoming again, capable of inspiring tourism as well.

History

The United Republic of Tanzania gained its independence in 1964 when Zanzibar and Tanganyika united. Often called "the cradle of civilization," the oldest human skull was found in northern Tanzania. Political elections are held every five years to decide the nation's leaders, even though 90% of the inhabitants live in rural areas. More than 120 tribes are represented at the national level in the country.

Geography

Tanzania is one of the largest countries in East Africa and borders the Indian Ocean. It was once entirely composed of savannas and forests, but today the landscape has sadly transformed into a semi-desert, causing serious damage to the territories and local communities. The country is home to more than 400 species of wildlife including zebras, giraffes, lions, crocodiles, and giant tortoises. Tanzania, among other things, hosts the largest population of elephants remaining on the planet.

Trees We Plant in Tanzania

The trees we plant in Tanzania are chosen to make the maximum contribution to the well-being of the communities and territories involved. All the trees we plant belong to the same forest, same macroclimate, same soil, and same ecosystem to have the highest chance of survival and therefore benefit for the environment. Fruit trees: Avocado, Peach, Loquat, Banana, Moringa, Olifera, Plum, and Orange. Forest trees: Lavofia Caffra, Albizia Schimperiana, Croton Megalocapus, Makhamea Lutea, Pinus Patula, Cypress Lusitanica, Podocarpus Usambariansis, Leucaena, Croton Microsachers, East African Camphorwood (1-2 years to reach maturity).
